Analyst - programmer
Duties and
Responsibilities
SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION
- Review requirements definition from technical perspective
- Develop software based on requirements
- Support current software deployed at clients
- Test and deploy software in client test environments
GENERAL EXECUTION
- Participate in workshops internally or with the client in order to
discuss solutions, review documents/specifications
- Identifies new business opportunities at the client and make sure
that the information is channelled to the appropriate business manager
TEAM WORK
- Interacts with business and technical roles
- Improve internal business processes to increase efficiencies

Education

Experience
- 2+ analysis and design experience
- 2+ years relevant systems development experience
- Modelling experience – specifically data/entity/object modelling;
data/process/activity flow diagrams
- Microsoft Office – including Visio
- Unified Modelling Language (UML)
- Software development background (preferably using Microsoft
technologies); experience with full SDLC (bespoke software development)
- .Net 2.0 and newer
- C#
- Experience with N-Tier architecture
- Experience with Source Code Management Software (SVN)
- SQL 2005 and up; experience writing functions & stored
procedures
Nice to have
- Strong project skills (can stand in for project manager if required)
- Exposure to logistics industry would be advantageous
- Experience with Agile / Iterative software development
- Silverlight 4.0 and newer (C# code behind)
- SQL 2008 experience
- SSRS – SQL 2005 and up reporting services and report development
- AS400 Integration experience
